The Earth Treks Roc Comp presented by Mountain Hardwear was without a doubt one of the most exciting UBC Pro Tour stops ever. Where do we even start?
The live online broadcast was an undeniable step forward for the sport of climbing featuring a production value never before seen in our sport.
The inexhaustible staff at Earth Treks helped us transform their facility into Technicolor arena for a sold out crowd of 800+.
And what about the athletes? World Cup champions, international talent from as far away as Australia, and the unquestioned leaders of the sport threw down across three grueling rounds of climbing and created thrilling finishes in both genders. Was Alex Puccio's edging out of Alex Johnson the most exciting athlete performance, or was it the legendary Chris Sharma coming out of competition retirement to DOMINATE the current generation?
